Guerrieri Easement
In October 2005, the Guerrieri family protected 115 acres of
irrigated meadow between Highway 135 and County Road 10.
Templeton Easement
The Templeton easement, completed in September 2005, protects 99 acres along
Tomichi Creek.

978 acres on the East River above Almont.
Hollenbeck Easement
In April 2004, Gene Hollenbeck granted an easement on 282 acres along Tomichi Creek, six miles east of Gunnison. Gene’s easement includes productive hay meadow, sagebrush grazing lands, and important habitat for the Gunnison sage grouse. Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust holds the easement.
| The Ochs Ranch | |||

 The Ochs Ranch Project was completed in November 2003. This complex project preserved 4,733 acres of prime ranchland in the Ohio Creek and East River Valleys. The land includes critical habitat for the imperiled Gunnison sage grouse. |
 Seven ranch families participated in the project. The value of the easements on this land exceeds $8 million dollars. Funding for the project was provided by Colorado Species Conservation Partnership, Gunnison Valley Land Preservation Board, Colorado Conservation Trust, local families and private donors. |
